Sonal Munda- a tribal girl from Ranchi- Tops JNU MCA Entrance Exam

Thanks to Prabhatkhabar, through which I came to know this good news.

Sonal Munda did her BCA from St Xavier’s College Ranchi and has now topped the MCA Entrance Exam conducted by JNU.

For the very first time, it has happened that a student from Bihar/Jharkhand has achieved this outstanding remark.

Almost 2 lakhs candidates appeared for the entrance exam towards admission to MCA programme from JNU, which has just 35 seats nationwide.

Success of Sonal Munda is an inspiration for the students of Bihar & Jharkhand and specially to those who belong to tribal community.

At the same time, it is a big slap to those who comment like “SC/STs don’t have talent.”

Way to go Sonal... Keep it up!!

There are many other students like Sonal from Jharkhand are doing excellent job in their acedemic and professional life. I belife we must have to encourage and reward them for for their deeds on making Jharkhand and country proud.

Its not about talent the question is about opportunity. There are tribal girls who have done well in UK/US too
Tribal girls can do wonders if they get a chance/opportunity
